Nivalis Nights apartments and decorating
Find a home that fits your routine, furnish apartments and venues, and locate shops for the Ramen Noir decoration objective.
Homes give you a place to return to and a space to furnish. Apartments vary in size and location, and decorating can extend from your own rooms to paid work for other residents.
Choose location as well as size
The August 2025 development blog describes rental homes ranging from small studios to lofts, with standalone houses on Calypso Island. You can rent several properties if your budget allows.
A convenient home can reduce the amount of travel in your routine. Before committing to another place, consider the district you spend time in and the businesses or quests you visit regularly.
Compare a prospective home on three points: its location, the space you want to decorate, and the money left for running your venues. Some apartments come with basic furnishings. Look at what is already there before buying replacements, and consider whether a larger home is worth another journey away from the places you visit most.
Furnish your own rooms
You can place furniture, paintings, lights and other decorations in apartments. Some homes have balconies or terraces. Different vendors carry different assortments and materials, so visit more than one retailer when choosing a style.
Restaurants can be decorated too. If you are furnishing a venue, check the quest requirements before buying decorative objects.
Find decorations for Ramen Noir
The October 1 patch clarifies the quest objective for adding decorations and plants to Ramen Noir. Home furniture retailers in Eastern Residential, Hive Mall and Central Canyon sell the required kinds of objects.
Read the objective before visiting the retailer so you know whether you need decorations, plants or both. Check that the purchase is intended for Ramen Noir rather than your apartment. After placing it, revisit the objective before buying extra items. The patch identifies the retailer districts; it does not say that every item sold there satisfies every decoration objective.
Take decorating work from residents
Some residents pay you to furnish their homes. These jobs have client preferences and specific requirements, so follow the brief for that home rather than copying your personal arrangement.
Make a short shopping list from the client’s brief. Separate required objects from optional changes you would make for your own taste. Check the room against each requirement after furnishing it, then return to the client when the requested work is complete. This keeps a paid job focused on the client’s needs and avoids spending your budget on unrelated decorations.
For a late decorating trip, plan your evening return and save before setting off.
